New Ideas, New Ways, New Family

Much has happened here in the Conner-Mock Family. In doing a lot of soul searching and cleaning out the "family cobwebs" if you please, I have realized how I have let things go with the kids. We're back on track and have a new plan. I tend to get really frustrated quickly if they don't live up to their end of the bargain and give up. I've got to make up my mind to stay firm and stick with this.
I've learned that I have a HEAVY sanguine personality. Learning about the personalities in the family and how they react to each other has been truly enlightening. What a difference some awareness makes!
This week Hannah has been sick and I've been tending to her every need. She finally went back to school today. With her being sick I stayed home yesterday. This gave me the time to get a great meal on the table for all of us to sit down and eat. I made a great new spaghetti and meatball recipe. The meatballs were homemade. Call me silly but I've never made my own meatballs. This was super simple:
The Best Ever Meatballs
2 lbs. ground beef (or turkey)
1 pkg. Stove Top Chicken dressing
1 1/4 c. water
2 eggs.
Mix all of the ingredients together. Form meatballs to whatever size you desire. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 17 mins. at 400 degrees.
They were delish!!
I, of course, served them with noodles and spaghetti sauce. I also found a recipe recently that added about 2 oz. of cream cheese to their spaghetti sauce. It was so creamy and delicious! The kids went on and on about it. I thought it was great, myself!
Tonight is church and the plan is always to get something quickly and let's run!! Tomorrow I'm planning to have meatball subs for supper. We had a LOT of meatballs leftover. YAY!!
I pray that all of my friends and family are doing well. Make the time to have a meal sitting at the table all together at least ONE time this week. I know it seems like something minimal to ask, but in our busy lives we tend to put the ones we love on the back burner for busyness. I'm at fault! Live Life! Chow!
