I was asked by One2One Network to review a new sitcom that is coming to CMT on Friday January 28th.
Working Class, starring Melissa Peterman and Ed Asner, is the story of a single mother trying her best to raise her children in a upscale suburb.
I was so excited to review a new show because I am a TV-aholic!! I enjoy funny sitcoms and don't often find too many that I stick with. I will admit that I feel kind of sad that I don't have a glowing report to give this sitcom. It moved a little slow. I got bored waiting for the storyline while waiting for it to pick up. It seemed as if they were trying a little too hard to be funny. I also noticed the laugh track was a little much. I am so sorry I don't have much great to say about it. I will say that I am going to continue with the sitcom though. A lot of times, I have found, the first show of a new sitcom series seems kind of cheesy but as it continues and the storyline develops it quickly becomes a favorite. I can not finish the review without informing you that there are a few references to alcohol, a few cuss words spoken and an obvious reference to sex appeal as a way to get a man.
If this sounds like a sitcom you would enjoy, tune in January 28, 2011 to CMT at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CST. You never know it may be right up your alley.

I watched it too but was past the time to review it. I felt the same way as you though. Hopefully it will get better. I just wish they did not have to put in the sexual inuendo. Sheesh!
Laugh tracks make me nuts. But I've noticed that too a lot of pilots are cheesy but as the story line develops I'll get more enthralled. i'll have to check this out!
